Boarding and Training
Basic board: -----------------------------------------------------$700 per month
Includes 1 group lesson per month
Includes grain, hay, water, stall cleaned daily, turn out at CHF’s discretion (no turn out by owner), blanketing, booting if needed, applying fly spray and fly mask, holding for vet and Farrier only if using CHF’s vet and Farrier. If owner chooses to use different vet and Farrier, owner should be responsible for scheduling the appointment, holding the horse, and following the treatment. Supplies and equipment necessary to care for the horse such as shampoo, fly spray, fly mask, boots, blankets, saddle pads, saddle, girth, bridle, etc, shall be provided by the owner. All vaccinations and medication will be billed by the vet. Worming will be billed by CHF. Any special care such as grooming, bathing, hand walking, medicating is subjected to extra charge.
Training/lesson package: ---------------------------------- $400 per month
+ $700 for basic board = $1100 ($1520 value)
This package is designed for the serious show rider. It includes:
- 4 training rides per week or
- You may exchange 2 rides for 2 group lessons
- Additional lessons and rides may be purchased separately.
Lesson Package group : ----------------------------------- $300 per month
+ $700 for basic board = $1000 ( $1060 value)
This package is designed for the mature and finished horse
- This package includes 8 one hour group lessons.
- The group lessons are offered on a fixed schedule. Unused lessons will not roll over to the next month.
Full Training/consignment package: ------------------ $250 per month
+ $700 for basic board = $950 ($1420 value)
This package is designed for horses that are ready to be sold. Not for participating riders.
- Includes grooming and 4 training sessions per week.
Full Training Package:------------------------------$700 per month
+ $700 for basic board = $1400 ( $1600 value)
This package is designed for young and mature horses in training to learn new skills or to be tuned up. It includes 5 to 6 training sessions per week.
- 3 sessions may be exchanged for one hour group lessons
- 5 grooming days per week
- The group lessons are offered on a fixed schedule. Unused lessons will not roll over to the next month.

Additional charges

Daily board: $25

Daily Training board: $25 plus $45 for training

Training ride: $45 per ride

Body clipping: $150 per horse (Owner will be billed for tranquilizers if needed).

Clipping legs: $25

Grooming: $10 per day

Bathing: $10 per day

Hand walking: $20 per 15 minutes

Wrapping: $10 per time

Pulling mane: $15 per horse

Clipping muzzle and ears: $15 per horse.
A 10% commission or $500 whichever is greater will be charged on a purchase, sale, or lease of any horse under the care of Claudia Heath Farm. Expenses acquired during the process of sale, lease or purchase, such as but not limited to shipping, travel, vet, shoeing, plain tickets, are not included in commission fees.
Due to the great discount offered on the prepaid training packages these rules will apply:
- The lessons and rides will expire on the end of the month. Lessons will not roll over to the next month.
- Payment is due on the first of the month, or you will not be able to schedule your lessons.
- Cancellations must be done 24 hours prior to the lesson or you will not be able to reschedule or exchange for a training ride.
- If it is raining please call to see if it is raining at the barn. We will reschedule rained out lessons.
- Tacking up and untacking for the lesson will be an additional charge of $20
